Google Search Result Removal and De-indexing
A harmful search result can influence investors, customers, employers and business partners before you have any opportunity to explain the facts. Irash provides Google search result removal and de-indexing support for companies, founders, executives and public figures in Dubai and worldwide. We identify whether the priority is removing the source, requesting de-indexing, correcting the information or rebuilding the search landscape around accurate material.
Request a confidential search result assessment. Send the URLs and search terms involved. We will review what is visible, where it originates and which route is most credible.
Removing a page is different from removing a search result
A search result is a reference to content hosted elsewhere. Removing the original page normally requires action by the publisher, website owner, platform or another authorised decision-maker. De-indexing asks a search engine to stop showing a particular URL for an eligible query or jurisdiction while the source page may remain online.
The distinction matters. Reporting a search result does not automatically remove the source, and persuading a publisher to change a page does not always clear outdated snippets or cached information immediately. We map both layers before recommending action.
Search results that may justify assessment
- Exposed personal information: home addresses, identification details, financial information or other sensitive data.
- Outdated or inaccurate pages: content that omits a material update, correction, acquittal, resolution or change in circumstances.
- Defamatory or fabricated material: allegations presented as fact without a reliable basis.
- Impersonation and fake profiles: pages designed to mislead users about a person or organisation.
- Copyright or confidential material: content published without valid authority where enforceable rights may exist.
- Harmful autocomplete or copied pages: patterns created by repeated publication, scraping or coordinated amplification.
- Old cached information: snippets or previews that no longer reflect the current source page.
Eligibility depends on the facts, jurisdiction, public interest, applicable policy and supporting evidence. We do not claim that every negative result can be deleted, and we do not use fabricated legal notices.
Our search result removal process
1. Search landscape audit
We record the affected queries, rankings, URLs, snippets, images, dates and copies. We distinguish the original source from syndication, mirrors, social posts and derivative coverage.
2. Source and ownership analysis
We identify the publisher, hosting context and likely decision-maker. A publisher correction, webmaster request or platform process may be more effective than approaching the search engine first.
3. Eligibility and evidence review
We assess privacy, accuracy, relevance, rights ownership, impersonation, public interest and other possible grounds. Where legal analysis is required, the client should rely on qualified counsel for the relevant jurisdiction.
4. Submission and follow-up
We prepare a concise, consistent case with supporting records. We track responses and assess whether clarification, appeal or a different route is justified.
5. Search reputation recovery
When removal is unavailable or only partly successful, we build a practical plan around online reputation management, accurate owned assets and credible digital PR coverage. The objective is to improve what people find, not merely chase one URL.
Source removal, correction, de-indexing and suppression
These terms describe different outcomes:
- Source removal takes the page offline at the website where it was published.
- Correction or update changes inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information while leaving the page online.
- De-indexing restricts the URL from appearing in eligible search results without necessarily deleting the source.
- Cache or snippet updating refreshes information shown by the search engine after the source has changed.
- Suppression earns stronger accurate pages that can reduce the prominence of harmful results over time.
A strong strategy may use more than one outcome. For example, a publisher update may be followed by cache refresh work and a broader authority campaign.

Frequently asked questions
Can you remove any result from Google?
No. Search engines decide requests under their policies and applicable law. A negative result is not automatically eligible. The case must be assessed on its actual facts.
Does de-indexing delete the website?
No. A de-indexed URL may remain accessible at its original address. Source removal requires action at the publisher or website level.
How long does search result removal take?
Timing depends on the route, evidence, publisher response, search engine and jurisdiction. We provide realistic expectations after the assessment but cannot guarantee a third-party decision.
What if the information is true?
Other considerations may still matter, including privacy, relevance, proportionality, age, context and rights ownership. Truth is not the only factor, but it does not guarantee eligibility either.
Can harmful results be pushed down instead?
Yes. Ethical suppression uses accurate, valuable and authoritative content to improve the search landscape over time. It is often appropriate when removal is unavailable or only partly successful.
